Studio One Dance is committed to the art of dance. We work hard to introduce and instill just the right amount of self-expression, discipline, and passion in each of our students. Whether a student is dancing for fun and exercise or planning to enter the arts on a professional level, we are here to guide you along the way.

Our Thunder Bay facility offers three floors of space well equipped to accommodate all dancers’ and parents’ needs. All dance studios feature Marley dance flooring with full length mirrors. Our kinder studio on the main floor has a viewing window for parents to watch their little ones in action. Our dance studio offers a clean environment and a pleasant atmosphere in which students can feel comfortable to learn, grow and be themselves.
It is our focus to instruct each and every student in a positive atmosphere. Policies at Studio One Dance are enforced in order to ensure that each child receives quality instruction while instilling a love for dance.
Extreme Weather If the school must cancel classes due to extreme weather or other events beyond our control (power outage), the missed lesson(s) will be rescheduled. Email notifications will be sent out.
Attendance/Lateness Our studio prides itself on the high caliber of its instructors and students. In order to maintain this standard, we require a strong commitment from our parents and students. Regular attendance is very important for all student to work to their full potential. Repeated lateness or absenteeism may result in termination of lessons.
Withdrawals/Refunds There are no refunds for term 1. Withdrawals from term 2 or term 3 must be done two weeks prior to the start of the next term. Parents must inform the school administration by email or phone call and sign a withdrawal form provided by the school office.
Special Events It is the responsibility of the parent to be aware of all school activities and holidays. All notices will be emailed accordingly.
Care of Students The school is not responsible for providing care before or after class for students. COVID – 19 protocols will be sent out by email to registered students. Parents will no longer be allowed to sit in waiting areas in order to reduce the risk of spreading COVID – 19.
