Cayleigh Howie

Cayleigh began dancing at age 7 with Studio One Dance where she quickly learned that dancing would be a large part of the rest of her life. She was trained in multiple styles of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, pointe, cabaret, and musical theatre.

Cayleigh has received the British Association of Teachers of Dancing Pre-Primary to Grade Five Certificates of Merit in ballet, jazz and tap. She has also had the pleasure of working and performing with the Minnesota Ballet in their production of The Nutcracker for a number of years. Cayleigh has been a competitive dancer for the majority of her life which has allowed her to travel and compete in many competitions out of town both as a soloist and in group work.  She has also attended various workshops that have helped her expand and develop her knowledge and technique.

Cayleigh realized her love for working with children at a young age when she began volunteering as a kinder helper at Studio One Dance. She continued as an assistant in many classes until her final year of Grade 12 graduation. Cayleigh joined the Studio One Dance faculty in the fall of 2014 and is thrilled to be returning to pass on her love of dance to her young dancers.
